From March 1 to 15, 2021, the Public Initiative “For Fair and Transparent Customs” conducted an online survey “Do you support the functioning of the State Customs Service as a single legal entity?”. This is the eighth survey in a series of online surveys conducted regularly by the Initiative.
The purpose of the survey was to determine the level of support for the reorganization of the State Customs Service of Ukraine (hereinafter the State Customs Service) into a single legal entity and to find out how, in the opinion of respondents, it will affect exports and imports. 98 respondents from 21 regions of Ukraine and the city of Kyiv took part in the online survey.
Survey results:
- The majority (59%) of respondents do not support the functioning of the State Customs Service of Ukraine as a single legal entity. 32% support.
- 67% of respondents believe that the implementation of foreign economic activity will not be simplified due to the functioning of the State Customs Service of Ukraine as a single legal entity. At the same time, 20% of respondents hold the opposite opinion.
